I'm so sick of watching umps blow call after call in baseball when the whole world can watch the right call 10 seconds later on instant replay. if you saw the terrible call in the rays philly game when the tag was clearly made by longoria at third right in front of the umps face, then you know what i'm talking about. get with it baseball and adopt instant replay for outs too!

Hey stryker- I'll bet you never say "it's only a game" when your team wins.

You don't seem like your too bright

  Get em fmaster.

We've got to have some kind of replay. Human error is one thing, but you have to get the calls right, no matter what.

Somebody said to get an official in the booth at all games and review the plays that are questionable.
Enough is enough.
They just need to get it right, whatever way they can.

And for GODS SAKE stop whining about human error.
You were obviously a human error yourself, best part of you ran down the crack of yo momma's ass. I think you've been cheated.

Actually fmaster, I was an ump for little league girls softball.
I remember you now, you couldn't make it on the boys team so you played on the girls team.
And the mommies in the stands were actually ruding you out because the girls were playing better than you.
I was trying to help you, but you seemed comfortable just being one of the girls.

THe umps aren't paid to make bad calls, I'm sure they do the best they can. But like I said before, everyone makes mistakes, and there isn't enough time to review each potential bad call.

There has to be some kind of instant reply with some of these calls. Give the umps 30 seconds to review.

But it will drag the games out too long and every manager or coach will be calling for a replay on each calll they don't like.

So whats the middle ground???

I say, each game has an umpire or ref up in a certain booth with all mthe same camera angles that the fans see. When he sees something that looks questionable, he, and only he, can call for a review.
NFL seems to have it figured out, not many problems with replays with them

"human element?" what are you, some kind of panzi? you must of umped little league girls softball and got tired of all the moms ragging out your wrong calls. real sports fans yell at the tv and scream about how bad the refs and umps suck and if the bad call goes against your team you kick the dog and punch your wife. that's a real sports fan! so stick to your favorite show "dancing with the stars" and leave sports and instant replay to people who give a damn

  Fmaster-

HELLOOOOOO- professional sports have the human element to them, teams are going to make mistakes, just like players and yes even umpires, referees, field judges, everyone makes mistakes, it all works out in the end.
You're the one that needs to get with the program!!!! Nothing is perfect. You can't stop a game or contest everytime someone thinks a mistake was made.

Obviously, you are the type of guy that watches whatever game is popular that day or weekend, and aren't really a sports fan. Probably are a member of PETA
